The Greater Hot Springs Beekeepers Association will offer a Beginner's Beekeeping Class on Saturday, March 25, from 9 a.m. to noon at Center Fork Baptist Church, 1101 S. Moore Road.
The class will include videos and handouts by the University of Arkansas beekeeping expert Jon Zawislak, assistant professor of Urban Entomology, University of Arkansas System Cooperative Extension Service, and question-and-answer sessions with local experienced beekeepers.
A hands-on afternoon session will be offered at the Garland County Detention Center bee yard if weather permits.

The Greater Hot Springs Beekeepers Association regularly meets at 7 p.m. the last Thursday of each month at Center Fork Baptist Church. Anyone interested in learning more about beekeeping or supporting pollinators is welcome to visit. The cost for membership is $10 per person or $15 for a couple.
