A minor was killed and a Hot Springs woman injured in a single-vehicle wreck late Friday on Airport Road, according to an Arkansas Department of Public Safety fatality report released Saturday afternoon.

Elizabeth Tabora Hill, 21, driving a 2010 Buick LaCrosse, was westbound in the 400 block of Airport Road near the railroad tracks at around 11:59 p.m. Friday and was passing another vehicle in the center lane when she reportedly lost control.

The Buick struck a curb, went airborne and struck the railroad overhead signal before overturning. Hill and her minor passenger, age and gender not listed, were both injured and transported by LifeNet to CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs where the child was later pronounced deceased.

Conditions were reportedly clear and dry at the time of the wreck which was investigated by Hot Springs police.
