Elks Lodge 380 recently celebrated the culmination of a 20-week fundraiser with a spaghetti dinner at the Lodge for all participants, a news release said.

The funds from the "20/20" fundraiser -- donations of $20 made over a 20-week period by individual Elk members -- are used to support the Elks' many veteran support projects.

The veteran projects include a free meal for all area veterans on Veterans Day, the "Adopt-a-vet" program, the condiments for the coffee bar at the VA Clinic in Hot Springs, party barge rides and picnic lunches monthly during summer months, except during the COVID-19 pandemic shutdown, and other supportive projects for veterans, the release said.

The Elks' motto is "As long as there are veterans, the Elks will never forget them."

For more information about the Elks, visit or call the Lodge at 501-525-1020.
