Elks Lodge donates to St. Francis House

Hot Springs Elks Lodge 380 members recently collected, donated and delivered items to the St. Francis House Veterans Re-Entry Program.

The donations included a winter coat, six men's T-shirts, a pair of jogging pants, 13 calendars, 25 toothbrushes, a bag of personal toiletries, 39 paperback books, nine hardcover books, 27 magazines, a "fanny pack," a backpack, a warmup suit, a pair of gloves, 10 men's shirts and a pair of pajamas.

In addition, a check for $250 from the ASEA Veterans Committee was presented to the St. Francis House to support its program.
