Christ of the Hills United Methodist Church in Hot Springs Village recently awarded a grant to Cooperative Christian Ministries and Clinic from their $1-a-Week grant program to replace the organization's 14-year-old printer/copier with a refurbished Canon Image Runner Advance 4535i Monochrom MFP.

The new printer provides CCMC with the capability of serving its patients, clients and outreach programs without disruption. Its efficiency and cost-effectiveness has reduced the organization's copying expenses by over $55 a month. In addition to the grant, the church also presented CCMC with a $500 donation, a news release said.

CCMC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with the mission to improve life for those who are underserved and under-resourced, the release said. It fulfills that mission by addressing three areas of human need: Advocacy Services, Charitable Healthcare, and Poverty Disruption programs.

"We are so grateful to Christ of the Hills for supporting our mission through this grant that is meeting a very practical need in our organization," Kim Carter, CCMC executive director, said in the release.
