Gail McKee and Doreen Wilson, members of Hot Springs Emblem Club No. 194, were at The Caring Place on Monday to help clients do a watercolor craft project. A surprise inspirational word was drawn on white paper using a white crayon. The watercolor does not stick to the waxy crayon, so the word shows through.

Each participant had a different inspirational word. Wilson chairs the community service project for the club and provides various entertainment for the clients each month.

The Caring Place offers respite for caregivers and families of people with dementia.
