Hot Springs Lodge 380 recently presented the Elk Officer of the Year Award to David Ross, PDDGER, ER, for 2022-23.
Ross was chosen by the Lodge Board of Directors and received the award "for his commitment to the well-being of the Lodge, including helping with general upkeep, working with rentals of the Lodge for wedding receptions and private parties, working in the kitchen, and participating in special events, among others," a news release said. Ross is serving this year as Exalted Ruler of the Lodge.
The Lodge also presented a recognition award to Buddy Sweet, PER, "for his successful year as Exalted Ruler, during which membership grew, committees were active and accomplished a great deal in the areas of veteran's support, the number of special events held at the Lodge, and new furniture in the Lodge, among many others. Sweet is serving this year as a Lodge trustee," it said.
