In honor of their daughter, Nora Catherine McConathy, who lost her battle with a rare form of brain cancer at just 14 months old, Tiffany and Jeremy McConathy cofounded Princess Nora's Warrior Foundation. The nonprofit organization aims to make childhood cancer a national priority by advocating for research, raising awareness, and supporting a variety of pediatric cancer organizations.

The foundation's mission statement outlines its goals to shape policy, improve the lives of pediatric cancer patients, and ensure that no warrior fights alone. The McConathy's are motivated not only by Nora's story but by the many children who still need help, including those living in the same area who are facing the same illness.

One of the most significant challenges facing pediatric cancer patients is a lack of funding for research. According to the McConathys, the government spends only 8% of its cancer research funding on children, and the American Cancer Society donates just 1% of its funding to pediatric cancer research. To combat this issue, Princess Nora's Warrior Foundation will partner with other nonprofit organizations to raise awareness and funds for clinical trials.

The foundation aims to change the current statistics surrounding pediatric cancer research funding, with the goal of giving children a fighting chance against this devastating illness. The McConathys are determined to address the lack of funding, resources, and awareness surrounding pediatric cancer and ensure that it becomes a national priority.

Princess Nora's Warrior Foundation is a tribute to a young girl who lost her life to pediatric cancer. Through their efforts, the McConathys hope to make a lasting impact in the fight against this disease and ensure that all children facing cancer receive the care and support they need to overcome it.
