Elizabeth Cook Zinn peacefully passed away on Nov. 14, 2023, surrounded by her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, two brothers, her first husband, Morris Cook, and her second husband, George Zinn.

She is survived by one son, Brad R. Cook and his wife, Tricia; along with three daughters, Kathryn Cook Roberts, Dawn Cook Waddle and Kimberly Zinn Navalance and her husband, Dave. Also surviving are nine grandchildren: Rhett Roberts and his wife, Cris, Rory Roberts and his wife, Sandi, Ragan Roberts, Caralisa Cook Richardson and her husband, Seth, Calin Cook Snow and her husband, Ricky, Alex Waddle, Memory Waddle and her husband, Daniel, Morgan Navalance Elledge and her husband, Ryan, and Jack Navalance.

She is survived by 12 great-grandchildren: Charlie Reese, Drew, Declan, Chloe, Ruthie, Lydia, Brecken, Tatum, Ava, Laila, Madison and Grayson.

During the course of her life, Elizabeth was passionate about many things, including church, gardening and homemaking. She was a proud and faithful member of Oaklawn United Methodist Church for 58 years, and she took pride in her work as a legal secretary at the Farrar Firm. She was incredibly creative and enjoyed expressing herself through poetry. She was a talented seamstress, creating her children handmade, beautifully detailed clothing throughout their childhood. She enjoyed the little things in life, such as a bit of Bailey's in her coffee or a piece of cake for breakfast, and she never missed an opportunity to dress up for Halloween.

At Elizabeth's request, there will be no service. Burial will be in Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Caruth-Hale Funeral Home.
