National Park College nursing students Trent Singleton and Abigail McMahan visited Tish Tucker's and Tracy Pratt's third grade classrooms at Cutter Morning Star Elementary School to discuss and demonstrate life vest safety.

Singleton and McMahan did an activity using oranges to show students how items float and sink in water. With the orange that was peeled sinking, this gave the students a visual of why it is important to wear a life vest when being in or around water.
