Randy William Summerville, 60, of Hot Springs, Ark., passed away on Nov. 21, 2023.

He was born Feb. 2, 1963, in Hot Springs, Ark., to Preston and Ima Summerville.

Randy was a die-hard Razorback and Dallas Cowboys fan. After graduating from Fountain Lake High School, he spent 30-plus years as a woodworker and cabinetmaker. He was a member of First Pentecostal Church and a devoted Cobra supporter, where he could be found running the score clock.

Randy was preceded in death by his father, Preston Summerville; mother, Ima Summerville; brothers, Aaron Sheets, Larry Summerville, Morris Summerville, Darrell Summerville; and father-in-law, Bobby Clift.

Survivors include his high school sweetheart and wife of 39 years, Pam Summerville. Randy leaves behind his children, Heather Newcomb (Justin) and Heath Summerville (special friend BK); one grandson (the light of his life), Callan Newcomb; one brother, Dewayne Sheets; three sisters, Charolette Milroy (Jerry), Charlene Yarbrough (Michael), Louise Anderson (Mike); a very special mother-in-law, Wanda Clift; two brothers-in-law, Dale and Richie Clift; and a host of other cherished family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home, with visitation one hour prior. Brother Wilbert Bates, Brother David Carpenter and Brother Lee Davis will be officiating. The interment will be at Rock Springs Cemetery, near Buckville.

Pallbearers include Clayton James, Paul East, Chad Tillery, Jerry Lin Milroy, John Mark Baker and Bao Nguyen.

Honorary pallbearers are Dr. J. Humphreys, Dr. Yarlagadda and CARTI staff, along with the entire transplant team at UT Southwestern.
