Hot Springs Pet Therapy will meet from 2-3 p.m. Saturday in the Maurice Room at National Park Medical Center, 1910 Malvern Ave. HSPT members take their own pets to nursing homes and other facilities to spread joy. Pets are temperament tested by HSPT and must be up-to-date on their rabies vaccinations. The meeting is open to members and anyone interested in learning more about the organization. Hot Springs Area Quilt Guild will hold its February meeting on Thursday, Feb. 22, at Hope Presbyterian Church, 836 Shady Grove Road. Social time begins at 4:30 p.m., with the meeting starting at 5 p.m. "Come learn the art of quilting with us," a news release said.


Tai Chi is offered at Oaklawn Methodist Church, 216 Higdon Ferry Road, on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9 a.m. It is free and no registration is required. Beginners are welcome. Families In Addiction, a Christ-centered support group, meets every Tuesday 6:30-7:30 p.m. at Hot Springs Baptist Church, 144 Weston Road. This is a program for families of someone in addiction.

Community Substance Misuse Peer Support Group meets every Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. at Ouachita Behavioral Health and Wellness in Malvern and every Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. at Ouachita Behavioral Health and Wellness in Hot Springs, in the downstairs conference room. Narcotics Anonymous meets at noon Monday through Saturday and at 2 p.m. Sundays at 315 W. Grand Ave. This is a 12-step recovery program for people for whom drugs have become a major problem. The Helpline number is 501-321-8700.

Alcoholics Anonymous meets daily at 8 p.m.; at 8 a.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday; at noon Monday-Saturday; and at 6:30 p.m. Sunday. The speaker meeting is at 11 a.m. Sunday.
