Park Ave Community Association recently elected a new executive committee.

Committee members are President Karina Martinez, Vice President Courtney Sanders, Secretary Lisa Schoonover, and Treasurer Briana Johnston Moore.

"Since it was established in 1987, PACA has helped restore Hot Springs' historic Park Avenue neighborhoods with a new park, a community garden, rain gardens, historic preservation, economic development and environmental awareness," a news release said.

The annual PACA-sponsored Spring Cleanup will take place on Saturday, April 27, at 10 a.m. At noon, PACA will hold a competition in Watkins Park for most creative use of discarded items in an event called Upcycletopia. Prizes will be awarded in several categories for upcycled creations that will be auctioned later in the day. Everyone is welcome to join in the Park Avenue Community, the release said.
