Time Tour: Pleasant Street Historic District

Added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2003, the Pleasant Street Historic District is the largest Black historic district in Arkansas. The district was the business and cultural hub of the Black community for many years, peaking in the 1920s to 1930 and again in the 1950s and 1960s.
