A full summer of community events are planned for Grand Avenue United Methodist Church, 841 Quapaw. Grillin' on Grand! will take place from 5-7 p.m. today in the church's new parking lot. Food, music and children's activities will be available. A Family Fun Fest - Children's Fair will take place from 5-7 p.m. July 18 on the parking lot. VBS "Camp Discovery" is planned for Aug. 4-6. A concert featuring Ed Kilbourne will be Aug. 23. The summer events are coordinated by Carol Scrivner, chair, Doug Baber, Ellen Clements, Fred and Shannon Dillard, Karla Hefty, Cynthia Keheley, Monica Longlin, Terry and Sheila McLarty and Joe Peters.
