Miss White River Samantha Hudon will be a special guest during a Gallery Walk reception from 5-7 p.m. Friday in the Ozark Cultural Center, 425 Central Ave.
Hudon is a Hot Springs native and longtime Friend of Hot Springs National Park. She is a former Miss Hot Springs and placed in the Top 10 during 2014's Miss Arkansas Pageant. Her platform is Get Up, Get Moving, which raises awareness for the need of healthy, active Arkansas citizens.
She is in town for the official Miss Arkansas contestants' arrival on Sunday, and the following week of competition to name the new Miss Arkansas. She will be available for questions, autographs and pictures during Friday's reception. All are welcome to come by and wish her well.
