Hot Springs native Johnathan Rhodes has been chosen as an Emerging Artist for the Opera in the Ozarks at Inspiration Point in Eureka Springs for the 2017 summer season. Rhodes is a candidate for a Master of Arts degree in Voice and Master of Music degree in Musicology at the University of Denver's Lamont School of Music. He will perform tenor roles in "Susannah," "The Marriage of Figaro" and "Carmen." Rhodes is a graduate of St. John's Catholic School, Subiaco Academy, and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Voice from St. John's University in Minnesota. He is the son of Byron and Lellie-Beth Rhodes. Tickets can be purchased online at http://www.opera.org.
