Dear Arlington Resort Hotel:
I am sending you this because I just had to share with you a cute story about my 4-year-old's love for your hotel.
First, let me say that my wife and I love your hotel and we have stayed there four times in the past year. My 4-year-old son is always with us. We live in Texarkana and when we feel the need to get away, we head for Hot Springs and we stay at your lovely hotel. My son fell in love with the place during our first trip and constantly asks to go back. He used to call it the "big tan hotel."
Anyhow, I read yesterday that you changed owners and I was telling my wife that the Arlington sold to new owners. My son overheard this and began to get emotional and said, in a crying voice, "Please daddy, tell them not to sell the big tan hotel." I explained that you weren't closing the hotel and we could still go and visit. I just thought it was hilarious that a 4-year-old could be so distraught because his favorite hotel had been sold. LOL.
Also let me tell you, we recently had to find new homes for some puppies that we had bought. It just wasn't working out with them and when we sat our son down to tell him the bad news, he cried and begged us to keep the puppies. His mom told him that we would make it up to him and take him on a mini vacation. When she asked him where he wanted to go ... yes, you guessed it, he wants to come to the big tan hotel! So we are planning on staying with y'all some weekend next month!
Just wanted to share this little story with you, because I thought it might make y'all feel good to have happy customers even at age 4! Thank you for providing us with an awesome stay every time we come up.
