Rushfork Cemetery, 1500 Rushfork Road, will observe Decoration Day with songs or a talk during its 1:30-2 p.m. fourth Sunday meeting. Donations are accepted.
UAPB/AM&N Alumni catfish fundraiser
The Hot Springs/Garland County Chapter UAPB/AM&N Alumni Association will sell catfish dinners from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday at the Webb Community Center, 127 Pleasant St. Delivery is available with purchase of five or more dinners. Cost is $10 per dinner. Menu includes fish, spaghetti, coleslaw, bread and dessert. Proceeds to benefit the scholarship fund.

Officers Ball Saturday at Elks Lodge
The Officers Ball for Elks Lodge and Emblem Club members, spouses and guests will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday at the lodge, 122 Abbott Place. A dinner of beef brisket for $15 or chicken for $11 will be served from 5-6:30 p.m.
AARP driver safety class at Balboa Baptist
HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE -- An AARP Smart Driver course will be sponsored by Balboa Baptist Church, 415 Ponce De Leon Drive, Hot Springs Village, at noon April 26. Qualified graduates are eligible for an auto insurance discount.
There is a $15 fee for AARP members and $20 fee for nonmembers to cover course materials. Bring your driver's license and, if applicable, AARP membership card. Call 922-0155 to enroll.
