Darrell Pounders with the Greater Hot Springs Beekeepers Club pulls a honey tray from one of the many hives in his Slovenian style bee house recently. Although he is allergic to bees and finds honey more of a hassle, Pounders is passionate about caring for his Carniolan and Italian honey bees. The Greater Hot Springs Beekeeping Club offers classes on beginner beekeeping that are open to the public.
