Lakeside High School senior Thomas Ian Hollis recently received a bronze medal as a 2019 Prudential Spirit of Community Distinguished Finalist. The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards represents the United States' largest youth recognition program based solely on volunteer service. Hollis was one of four students selected for this honor in Arkansas and plans to attend the University of Arkansas next fall. He has also been awarded an Honors College Fellowship.
