The couple were honored for the volunteer work they do on behalf of the organization, a fellowship of Christian campers who volunteer throughout the state. The Wimsetts attend First Baptist Church and also volunteer at the Hot Springs Senior Center, where they teach line dancing.

St. Mark's to hold Friends and Family Day

St. Mark Baptist Church, 542 Crescent Ave., will celebrate its annual Friends and Family Day at 3 p.m. Sunday.

Guest Pastor Clifton Conley, of Mount Sinai Baptist Church in Little Rock, will speak on "Intentional Friendliness in an Unfriendly World."

Cedar Glades Revival set

Cedar Glades Baptist Church, 303 Gum Springs Road, Mountain Pine, will host a revival at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday, and at 7 p.m. Monday through Wednesday.

The revival will be led by International Edifying Christ Ministry CEO Brother Scotty McDowell.

Greater St. Paul's to hold Family and Friend's Day

Greater St. Paul Baptist Church, 497 Crescent Ave., will celebrate its annual Ethel Watkins Family and Friends Day at 3 p.m. Sunday.

Guest speaker the Rev. Troy Gaines, of First Baptist Vine in Malvern, will speak at the event.

Greater Ebenezer presents Women's Day Program

Greater Ebenezer MBC, 401 Lacey St., will present Kathleen "Kathy" Jones' Women's Day Program at 3 p.m. Sunday.

Sister Esther Hunter Dixon, Justice of the Peace District 3, will be the keynote speaker at the event.
