Harriel and Shirlene Puckett White, of Hot Springs, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary this month at different locations hosted by family and friends followed by a trip to Texas.
The couple were married on Aug. 23, 1969, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alroy Puckett, with the Rev. Clarence Boyd officiating. They are the parents of the Rev. Tamar Alroy White of Little Rock and Kaemel Hampton White of Hot Springs with a special niece, I'Nita White of Texas.
He is a retired supervisor from the Social Security Administration where he worked for 30 years. She is a retired educator with the Hot Springs School District where she worked for 37 years. She is a lifetime members of Visitor Chapel AME Church and he was a dedicated member and is pastor of Gates Chapel AME Church of Crossett.
