Planning Commission
to hold public hearing
The Hot Springs Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at 6 p.m. Thursday at City Hall, 133 Convention Blvd., to consider the following land use requests:
• Harmony Park Development Freestanding Sign, Section Line Road and Harmony Park, request to install a new multi-tenant freestanding sign in Planned Development zone district.
• Sunnyside, Sellers, Ewing and Chelsea streets Re-Zone, conditional use minor amendment request to develop block 27, lots 1-12 in Fairdale Subdivision into a storage facility at Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort.
• Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2278, 660 E. Grand Ave., conditional use to establish a VFW private club on the subject site.
• Hasstedt Custom Upholstery, 114 Halton Terrace, Home Occupation Type B request to operate an upholstery business from the detached shop in the rear yard of this residential property.
• Hot Springs Resort Planned Development site plan amendment to add additional residential structures and other site improvements at 360 Lakeland Drive.
• Steadman Physical Therapy, approximately 236 Garrison St., site plan review for a new physical therapy clinic and health club.
• Esso Re-Zone, 701 Park Ave., zoning change request from Commercial Transitional District to Central Business District.
• Jackson Re-Zone, approximately 200 Normandy St., zoning change request from Low Density Residential to Commercial Transitional District for lots 13 and 14 in block No. 2 of Wrights Subdivision.
WCAWD board plans
to hold teleconference
The Planning/Performance Committee of the West Central Arkansas Workforce Development Board will have a teleconference at 10 a.m. Friday.
Board staff will be available for the public at 1000 Central Ave.
