holds blood drive today
United Blood Services' Bloodmobile will be at Levi Hospital from 2-4:30 p.m. today.
Blood donors will receive a free, limited edition, long-sleeved holiday-themed T-shirt.
Appointments to give blood are not required but can be made by calling Arkansas Blood Institute at 877-340-8777 or visiting http://www.arkbi.org.
Utility work to close part of Hobson Avenue
The westbound lane and the turn lane of Hobson Avenue, between Oakcliff Street and Central Avenue, will be closed for utility work from 7 p.m. today through 6 a.m. Friday.
Signs and detours will be in place.
