Earth Angel

The Earth Angel Recycling Program is the city's curbside recycling service. It is provided free of charge as part of the services provided by the city's Solid Waste Department.

"Recycling is the best way to protect the environment from overburdened landfills while reducing costs. By taking part in the Earth Angel Recycling Program, you have the opportunity to help ensure a healthy future for your community," the city said in a news release.

The "Earth Angel" truck collects aluminum cans, brown paper grocery bags, corrugated cardboard, plastic No. 1 and No. 2, newsprint, telephone books, leaves, grass and small brush.

The city will furnish the container and a calendar of scheduled collection days. The container should be placed curbside prior to 6 a.m. for pickup. To get involved in the program, call 321-6911.
