Freshman Joe Ramey, of El Dorado, and Terry Clardy Jr., of Conway, combined for 47 points as the Nighthawks cruised to a 124-74 win over South Arkansas Community College Thursday night in The Kettle for National Park's fourth-straight win.

The Nighthawks (5-4, 2-0 Region 2) jumped out to an early lead with Ramey putting up the team's first 6 points for a 6-2 lead with just 1:25 off the clock as NPC pushed out to a 15-6 lead by the 16:49 mark. Ramey fed the ball inside to Mayflower's David Jagers before taking the pass under the basket and drawing the foul to earn 11 points with 3:55 off the clock for an 18-6 lead.

NPC's lead hovered around 10 points before a long 3-pointer by Tyler Tolliver with 8:46 left in the half gave the Nighthawks a 37-22 lead. A Brady Woodall layup off a 60-foot assist from Lane Kersey followed by a Kersey trey at the 7:12 mark pushed the lead out to 20 points.

The Stars hit a 12-2 run to cut their deficit down to 10 before the Nighthawks secured the 55-40 halftime lead, behind 13 points from Ramey and Clardy and 12 from Jagers.

The Nighthawks ran on an early 11-2 run, thanks in part to back-to-back 3-pointers from Kamryn Vick, of CAC, for a 66-42 lead with 2:22 off the clock in the half before stretching out to a 75-45 lead with 15:03 remaining. NPC increased its pressure inside to allow just two buckets in the paint in the second half.

Freshman Tyler Tolliver, of Mayflower, made a strong impression in his Nighthawk debut, setting up a wide-open 3-point shot for Reyhan Cobb on a pass from under the basket for an 84-53 lead with 10:20 left in the game. The point guard set up a Ramey alley-oop 30 seconds later for a 33-point lead as the Nighthawks continued to hold the Stars scoreless to push out to a 92-53 lead with 8:04 left.

Ramey led the Nighthawks with 27 points on the night with Clardy adding 20. Jagers and Vick had 14 each while Tolliver put up 11, all in the last 11 minutes of the game.

The Nighthawks travel to Broken Arrow, Okla., next Saturday to take on Rhema Bible College at 4 p.m.
