A local man was reportedly attacked and robbed by two unknown suspects while walking home late Tuesday on Malvern Avenue, according to a Garland County Sheriff's Department incident report.

The victim, 47, told sheriff's deputies that around 11:15 p.m. he was walking home from the Big Red Gas Station, 2975 Malvern Ave., when he was met by two black males as he approached the intersection of Malvern and Westinghouse Drive.

He said the two males suddenly began punching him in the face and legs and one of them took his wallet, containing an undisclosed amount of money, and also stole a bottle of medication he had with him.

Deputies noted the victim had light abrasions on the left side of his face and bruising to his upper legs. He was transported to National Park Medical Center for treatment.

The two suspects were reportedly wearing dark blue or black hoodies and jeans. Anyone with information about the incident or possible suspects should contact sheriff's investigators at 501-622-3660.
