Caddo Hills repeats dominant performance at Mountain Pine

MOUNTAIN PINE -- Caddo Hills had a repeat performance against Mountain Pine as the Lady Indians rolled to a 60-9 victory over the Lady Red Devils at Red Devil Fieldhouse Tuesday night.

Mountain Pine (4-21, 4-10 1A-7) never could get its offense going as the Lady Indians (21-8, 11-3) ran roughshod on the road a little over a month after routing the Lady Red Devils, 85-8, in Norman.

The Lady Indians rolled to a 26-2 lead in the opening quarter before taking a 32-6 halftime lead. Caddo Hills added 28 in the second half to Mountain Pine's three points.

Lilli Hunt led the Lady Indians with 15 points, three steals, three assists and a rebound, and Jaci Vines added 10 points, two rebounds and a steal.

Lexi Tedford paced the Lady Red Devils with four points, three rebounds, an assist and a steal. Ja'Tavia Smith and Shalayla Delaney added two points each and Brittany McDaniel had one. Smith led the team in rebounding with six.

Mountain Pine is scheduled for a road game on Friday at Kirby (23-6, 10-0).

* The Mountain Pine junior girls struggled Tuesday as Caddo Hills cruised to a 37-2 win at Red Devil Fieldhouse.

The junior Lady Indians rolled to a 33-0 lead in the opening half, but neither team managed to score in the third frame. Mountain Pine put up their only points on a bucket by Becca Chambers in the final period, and Caddo Hills had four in the fourth to set the final.

Kristian Downey pulled down three rebounds for Mountain Pine, and Serenity Puttman, Kiyah Anzudula and Hannah Mitchell had two each.

Kyleigh Veazey and Morgan Caldwell led Caddo Hills with eight points each, Veazey pulling down three rebounds with a pair of steals and Caldwell with five steals, two rebounds and two assists. Cinthia Lopez had six points, Natalie Jackson five, Maddie Phillips four, Kennedy Avila four and Ali Lea two.
