Poets Roundtable

to meet at library

Poets Roundtable of Hot Springs will meet at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Garland County Library.

The Inspirational Poet will be Hazel Wright, Showcase Poet will be Bill Stephens, and Delores Hinde will give the lesson on Rhyming Couplets.

All poets will read a poem reflecting a Jo McDougal single moment. The public is welcome to attend the free event.

Owls focus of next

program at HSV Audubon

HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE -- Rusty Scarborough will showcase several species of owls that are common in Arkansas at the next Hot Springs Village Audubon Society program at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Coronado Center.

Scarborough is a master falconer and the senior park naturalist for Caddo Parish Parks & Recreation's Walter B. Jacobs Memorial Nature Park in Shreveport, La.
