Hot Springs police are investigating the death of a Hot Springs woman as a homicide.
Officers responding to 208 Linwood Ave. at 5:09 p.m. Friday in reference to a welfare check located a deceased white female inside the residence, Hot Springs police Cpl. Joey Williams said in a news release late Friday night.
"This is being investigated as a homicide," Williams said.
"Detectives are currently interviewing witnesses and following up on several leads, more information will be released as it becomes available," he said.
