'Dogs n' Fun' set for Sunday

Faith United Methodist Church, 321 Nash St., will host "Neighborhood Dogs n' Fun," a community fellowship event, from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday. A sign-up list is in the Narthex.

St. Luke's plans recognition service

St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 228 Spring St., will have only one service Sunday, at 10:45 a.m., with special recognition of those in health care fields.

Music will be by Parish Choir and Shelley Martin. The community is welcome.

Living Waters to host family weekend

Living Waters Church of God in Christ will host a family weekend open to the public, beginning with a picnic, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at Family Park, 215 Family Park Road. There will be games, fun and fishing.

The family day service will be at 11 a.m. Sunday at Living Waters COGIC, 306 Grove St. The Rev. Mitchell Moore, of Harris Temple Baptist Church in Little Rock, will speak. Superintendent David L. Withers will be the host pastor.

Spa City Kidz today at Wade Street Park

Lakeview Assembly of God, 4324 Central Ave., will host Spa City Kidz from 10 a.m. to noon today at Wade Street Park, 300 Wade St.

There will be free groceries, toiletries, Bibles, haircuts and clothing available on a first-come, first-served basis.
