Hot Springs Village Audubon Society will once again offer a four-session birding workshop in March.

The four Tuesday sessions will be held at the Coronado Center. The workshops begin at 8:30 a.m. and end around 11 a.m. The workshop will combine a classroom presentation with outside fieldwork, depending on the weather.

The workshops will cover a variety of topics. Basic bird identification skills are the main focus but other topics, including selecting and using binoculars, print and online resources and managing backyard feeders, will be covered.

The fee for the four workshops is $30 for nonmembers and $25 for members. Participants are asked to bring binoculars and field guides if they have them.

The workshops will be led by Vic Prislipsky. To register, visit http://www.hsvbirds.org, or register by texting or leaving a message for Prislipsky at 501-209-9314.
