A Bonnerdale man was killed Friday after he reportedly lost control of his motorcycle on Old Dallas Road, according to an Arkansas Department of Public Safety preliminary fatal crash report released Monday.
Calvin L. Stewart, 53, operating a 2001 Harley-Davidson motorcycle, was reportedly westbound in the 300 block of Old Dallas Road just west of Sunshine Road shortly before 1 p.m. when he was negotiating a curve to the right and drove off the left side of the road.
He reportedly fell off the motorcycle, which continued on and crashed into a utility pole, coming to rest on the south side of the road. Stewart was pronounced dead at the scene by a Garland County deputy coroner.
The report notes the conditions were clear and dry at the time of the wreck.
