Man dies following wreck on Highway 70

A Jacksonville man reportedly died Friday from injuries received in a two-vehicle collision on Wednesday, Sept. 23, on Highway 70 east in Hot Springs, according to an Arkansas Department of Safety preliminary fatal crash report.

Isiah Goyco, 24, of Jacksonville, was a passenger in a 2004 Hyundai Sante Fe that was westbound on Highway 70 shortly before 7 a.m. Wednesday when the driver of his vehicle, identified as Amanda L. Stallins, 30, of North Little Rock, lost control and traveled into the opposite lane where their vehicle was struck by an eastbound 2017 Dodge Caravan driven by Laura T. Martin, 41, of Hot Springs.

Goyco, Stallins and Martin were all injured in the wreck and transported to CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs where Goyco was pronounced dead on Friday, the report states.

The report notes the collision occurred just west of the rest area and conditions were raining and wet at the time of the wreck, which was investigated by Arkansas State Police.
