Allen Tillery Auto was selected Business Yard of the Month for July by Garland Country Master Gardeners.
The family owned dealership at 4573 Central Ave. is "beautifully landscaped and well maintained," a news release said.
When entering the dealership, there are borders of multicolored vincas and dark watermelon-colored crepe myrtle placed with well-groomed boxwoods The focal point is a very large American flag displayed on the complex.
The yard art at the time was of a patriotic theme of red, white and blue windsocks and balloons to celebrate the upcoming Fourth of July holiday.
The customer is greeted by foundation planting consisting of several varieties of Nandi a and box leaf euonymus. There is also variegated liriope scattered in beds as accents.
"All of this creates a lovely view from the offices in the complex and car-stopping curb appeal," the release said.
