COVID-19 update: Vaccinations grow by nearly 4%

• 268,727 cumulative confirmed cases, up 197 from Tuesday.

• 153.86 rolling seven-day average of new confirmed cases, up 9.86 from Tuesday.

• 3,091,945 PCR test reports, up 2,581 from Tuesday.

• 8.7% cumulative PCR infection rate, no change from Tuesday.

• 75,930 cumulative probable cases, up 91 from Tuesday.

• 14.4% cumulative antigen infection rate, no change from Tuesday.

• 336,470 recoveries of confirmed and probable cases, up 101 from Tuesday.

• 2,251 active confirmed and probable cases, up 107 from Tuesday.

• 2,674,120 vaccine doses received, up 100 from Tuesday.

• 2,063,690 doses given, up 5,930 from Tuesday.

• 211 hospitalizations, up seven from Tuesday.

• 50 cases on a ventilator, up three from Tuesday.

• 112 ICU admissions, up seven from Tuesday.

• 4,657 confirmed deaths, down two from Tuesday.

• 214 confirmed deaths, no change from Tuesday.

• 49 probable deaths, no change from Tuesday.

The number of Garland County residents who've received at least one dose of vaccine increased by almost 1,300, or 3.78%, in the last three weeks, according to a report the Health Department provided Wednesday.

Of the 86,444 county residents 12 and older, 35,647 have received at least one dose. The number of fully vaccinated county residents increased 6% in the last three weeks, rising to 29,069. The number of fully vaccinated Arkansans increased more than 8% over that time, reaching 954,054, or 37.31%, of the 2,557,248 Arkansans 12 and older.

Bradley, Conway and Dallas are the only counties with at least 40% of their residents fully vaccinated.

The state's infection curve rose for a seventh-straight day Wednesday. The rolling seven-day average of new confirmed cases has risen 75% since June 1, tracing its highest point since March 21. The number of COVID-19 patients in intensive care units has risen more than 27% since June 1.
