My aunt is suffering from Alzheimer's and aggressive metastatic breast cancer. She was intolerant of chemo. She is now on hospice at age 89. I am telling you because I know many of you have suffered and struggled greatly this past year or so with many similar issues.

We as caretakers, family members, and friends must make our peace and try to help make their last days as good as possible. We watch them slowly forget who we are, lose themselves, live with pain, and waste away. We have moments of happy memories, and some not so happy.

Jackson House is there to help with food, including special diet needs, clothing as needed in any size, and we usually have lots of Depends, as well. Let us help you as you struggle at least to take care of some things so you can focus on the bigger ones.

Our staff and volunteers will visit with you and comfort you. Call 501-623-4048 to volunteer or donate. So many need Jackson House in so many ways. Be part of something that touches people when they need us the most. You can find us at 705 Malvern, Hot Springs, AR 71901, and http://www.jacksonhouse.org.
