At a recent Hot Springs Jazz Society free block party concert, several of the Mardi Gras Queens (aka ROOQs, Royal Order of Queens) donated $1,800 to the Jazz Society.
"This will help defray the cost of the entertainers for the Labor Day weekend Jazz Fest (free concert in the street for our community and people who attend from across the nation) sponsored by the Society," a news release said.
