HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE -- Tickets are now available for the Hot Springs Concert Band's annual Christmas concert, which will be held at its traditional venue, the Woodlands Auditorium in Hot Springs Village, at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 9.

The band, under the direction of Craig Hamilton, "has been hard at work, but this year is enjoying the rehearsals and looking forward to the concert even more than usual because last year's concert was canceled due to COVID," a news release said.
"No doubt, some of you are also looking forward to the music and camaraderie our concerts have been providing for many years. This annual event has become a favorite of our local communities and is always a special concert, in part because it is sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Greater Hot Springs Village. The Kiwanis Club utilizes all of its proceeds from this concert and other fundraisers to support children's activities in the local area."
This year's selection of music "will include a treasure of holiday standards presented in a variety of music styles to reflect the spirit of the celebration and the joy of the season. And, as always, be sure to bring plenty of Christmas spirit so you can sing along with the band on some of your holiday favorites," the release said.
"As one of our songs so joyfully expresses it: 'It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year.'"
