Travis DeWayne Williams, aka "True," 42, of Hot Springs, Ark., transitioned from his earthly home on Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2021.

He was born June 18, 1979, to Ervin Cox and Kathy Edmondson in Wynne, Ark.

Travis is preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. Odessa and Linnie Williams, Katie Cox, Annie Pearl (Joseph); sister, Lencola Williams; and bonus mom, Patricia Goines.

Travis attended and graduated from Hot Springs High School in 1998. He enjoyed working at Western Sizzlin and Colton Steakhouse for many years; however, Travis' greatest enjoyment was spending time with family, friends and fishing. He was the biggest Dallas Cowboy fan you will ever meet, but was one in a million who was kind, gentle, funny and protective.

Travis is survived by his loving and devoted parents, Kathy Edmondson of Hot Springs, Ark., and Ervin (Tanya) Cox of Duncan, Okla.; sister, Jessica Williams of Hot Springs, Ark.; brothers, Craig Tabron of Wynne, Ark., Terrell, Tyler and Steven Cox, all of Duncan, Okla.; special brother, Jermain Young Sr. of Hot Springs, Ark.; niece, Amiya Cox of Duncan, Okla.; nephews, Javon and Jermaine Young Jr. of Hot Springs, Ark.; and a host of extended family and friends.

Celebration of life will be at noon Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022, at Unity Church of God in Christ, 200 Gardner, Hot Springs, ARs 71913. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at 11 a.m. The burial will be at Crestview Cemetery, 3077 E. Grand Service Road, Hot Springs, Ark.
