HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE -- Nancy Ball, of Hot Springs Village, passed on Dec. 2, 2021.

She was born in Muncie, Ind., on Aug. 8, 1937. Nancy was a school teacher in her early career, but then became the McDonald's franchisee in the Hot Springs, Benton, Bryant and Arkadelphia in 1974. Nancy was the chairman of the Arkansas Ronald McDonald House and hosted several charity events throughout her term and was also involved in the local Boy Scouts. Nancy retired in early 2000s and did what she loved best, traveling. Nancy and JD spent many of their retirement years traveling across the country and abroad.

Nancy was married to JD Ball, who passed in 2017. She is survived by the following:

Daughter, Sandra Price of Hot Springs Village

Son, John Kosin of Hot Springs

Son-in-law, John Spicer of Hot Springs Village

Brothers, Don Taylor of Hot Springs Village and Wayne Taylor of Michigan

Stepsons, Mark Ball (Colleen) of Bryant, David Ball (Spring) of Arnaudville, La., and James Ball or New Orleans.

Nancy will be cremated and her ashes will be spread across various places she loved to travel.
