Donnie Edge, an employee of the Hot Springs Village POA who has been a hobbyist beekeeper off and on for 30 years, will be the guest speaker at the NSDAR John Percifull Chapter meeting at 11 a.m. Thursday.
"Edge donated his time to beekeeping with his church, the Living Word Worship Center in Fountain Lake, and the money made from the honey was donated to the children's church ministry. The bees have become important to the conservationists as well as our lives, and it is always interesting to see how different avenues are used to keep our earth together," a news release said.
The business meeting will follow the presentation, and there will be brown bag lunch and time of fellowship to follow. Visitors are welcome. "If you have a Revolutionary War Ancestor, please come and find out more about DAR," the release said.
