Ronald "Ronnie" Terry Hooker, [74], of Hot Springs, Ark., passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023.

He was born to Chester and Winnie Belle Hooker on June 28, 1948, in Prescott, Ark. He was a talented athlete who loved playing sports, listening to music, reading everything he could get his hands on and was an avid Razorback fan. Ronnie was born with a natural charisma and never met a stranger. His ability to talk to anyone coupled with his magnetic personality drew others to him and he was always found at the center of any conversation, cutting up and making everyone around him laugh.

After graduating from Henderson State University and having a stint in the National Guard, he would utilize his many talents to go on to be a successful real estate agent and motivational speaker. Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Winnie Belle Hooker, of Prescott, Ark.

Ronnie is survived by his loving and dedicated wife of 43 years, Becky Hooker, of Prescott, and three children, John Hooker, of Hot Springs, Tony (Holly) Hooker, of Hope and Cowin Hopson, of Little Rock, as well as six grandchildren, Jackson Mitchell, Kaitlynn and Kinley Hooker, Jaevon, Caliyah, and Khari Hopson. He is also survived by one brother, Jerry (Jan) Hooker, and two sisters, Judy (Jamie) Ammons and Melinda (Mike) Faulkner. He also leaves to cherish his memory, several nieces and nephews, grandnieces and -nephews, godchildren Cody and Malonie Thull, and many, many friends.

Ronnie will always be remembered for his larger-than-life personality and his love for his family and friends.

In honor of Ronnie's wishes, there will not be a funeral service, the family will have a celebration of life to be announced at a later date.
