Theresa Milroy recently joined Cooperative Christian Ministries and Clinic as its new charitable clinic coordinator, the clinic recently announced.

She graduated from Garland County Community College in 1991 as a registered nurse. After graduation, she worked at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock in surgical oncology for several years.

"Her career has taken her to area hospitals in various roles until she assumed the position of adjunct clinical instructor at National Park College. There, she taught nursing students in the LPN program until her retirement," a clinic news release said.

"When I was offered the opportunity to come out of retirement to become part of the CCMC team, I accepted the challenge with enthusiasm," Milroy said in the release.

"I care deeply about our patients and am grateful for the chance to serve our community at such a vital and compassionate place."

"Theresa is a terrific addition to help CCMC fulfill our mission to serve our underserved, under-resourced neighbors," Sallie Culbreth, CCMC executive director, said in the release.

"Her vast knowledge and experience, coupled with a deep sense of community, is a tremendous asset to the clinic and our organization. We are blessed to have her, as are our patients, volunteer health care professionals, and staff."

"CCMC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that fulfills its mission by focusing on three areas of human need: charitable health care, advocacy services, and poverty disruption programs," the release said.
