District Court to close offices early Wednesday
The Garland County District Court will be closed from 2 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday as staff will be participating in CPR training and certification.
WCAPDD board meets virtually Friday
The West Central Arkansas Planning and Development District board of directors will meet virtually at 11:30 a.m. Friday.

Utility work to close parts of Lakeland
Lakeland Drive, between Central Avenue and Yorkshire Drive, will have intermittent lane closures on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., starting Tuesday, until the project is completed, which is estimated to be Tuesday, Aug. 1, for utility replacement.
Caution signs and barricades will be in place, and motorists are advised to use caution when traveling in this area.
