Toni Beauford Smith, age 61, of Hot Springs, Ark., passed away on March 5, 2024, at National Park Medical Center in Hot Springs.
She was born on May 6, 1962, in Arkadelphia, Ark., to the late Theodore and Ruby Lee Natt. She was a member of Cottrell Chapel CME Church in Hot Springs and assistant director of Essential Pathways Inc. Enrichment Center of Hot Springs. Precedents in death include: her parents; Charles Natt (brother), Alice Faye Edson (sister), Skye Renee Beauford (daughter), and Jeffery Beauford Sr. (the father of her children).
Survivors include: her husband, Kenneth Smith of Hot Springs, Ark.; two sons, Rico Beauford (Nadia) of Prosper, Texas, and Jeffery Beauford II of Hot Springs, Ark.; three sisters, Ella Mary Jackson of California, Tanika Flannigan (James) of Arkadelphia, Ark., and Teresa (Mitch) Davis of Benton, Ark.; one brother, Kelvin Middleton of Hot Springs, Ark.; granddaughters, Kiah Beauford of Little Rock, Ark., and Leilah Beauford of Prosper, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Services are under the direction of Mitchell Funeral Home of Arkadelphia, Ark.
Visitation will be from noon to 6 p.m. today, March 15, 2024, at Mitchell Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Cottrell Chapel CME Church in Hot Springs, Ark. Toni will lie in state for viewing at the church one hour prior to service time. Burial will be at Holly Grove Cemetery in Okolona, Ark.
