Fountain Lake High School senior second baseman Brayden Buss is a multitalented athlete on the Cobras' baseball team. Cobras' head coach Justin McArthur said Buss is the only four-year player in his senior class, and offers a steady glove in the middle infield.
Buss recently met with The Sentinel-Record to give people a glimpse into what he is like beyond the diamond. The right-handed hitter's walkout music is "Father Stretch My Hands," by Kanye West.

What do you like most about playing baseball?
Just joking around with the team and just having fun with all of them... the bus rides, especially.
What is your most memorable moment playing baseball, even going back to when you were a kid?
Sophomore year, I remember my friend, Jack, hit a walk-off grand slam, and it was just fun.
Do you have any pregame rituals or superstitions?
I like to hit in the cage before the games.
Who is your all-time favorite athlete in any sport?
Stephen Curry, I look up to him in basketball.
Do you have any hobbies or interests outside of sports?
Just hanging out with my friends, playing video games, eating out with friends.

What is your favorite restaurant and favorite meal?
Favorite meal, probably pizza. That is my favorite food. Restaurant in Hot Springs -- I really like 501 Prime.
What one person is your biggest inspiration?
My dad; I look up to him every day.
What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
Just to give my all at everything. Just to work hard every day.
What is the last television series that you binge-watched, or are currently watching?
"Outer Banks," on Netflix.

Prime Megan Fox.

What are your plans for after graduation and what type of career do you plan to pursue?
I plan to attend UCA, major in business, but I think I am either going to be a real estate agent or just do something with a business.
