Storm damage

Emergency crews and homeowners were at work Sunday morning near the intersection of Pleasant Run and Ten Mile Road in Saline County near the Garland County line cleaning up after severe storms moved through the area Friday night. Homicide investigation

Hot Springs police department investigators were searching a vehicle that struck a fire hydrant at the intersection of Jerome Street and Higdon Ferry Road Wednesday shortly before midnight before coming to rest in a grassy area in front of an apartment complex in the 600 block of Higdon Ferry Road. The vehicle is part of an investigation into a shooting/homicide, police said.
