Information provided by the city incorrectly stated that the General Improvement Fund grant received recently from the West Central Arkansas Planning and Development District was to fund installation of a safety base. The funding actually completes the Kimery Park infield rehabilitation project, which involved designing and installing artificial turf on all four infields.
The newspaper regrets the error.
